A letter to Giovani Sartori by UNAM student.


Dear Professor Giovani Srtori

My name is Roberto Cabrera, I am studing my Bacherlor´s degree of legal-studies at UNAM and I think that I am one of the favorites students of professor Jorge Islas. Frist, I wish you happy birthday for your 90 anniversary dear professor Giovani Srtori, I hope in future to have the opportunity to celebrate one of your birthdays with you and Professor Jorger Islas in Italy. It´s rare I have never spoken with you, but I have many think to thanks.

Thanks a lot, for teaching us how to rethink democracy.

Thanks a lot, for teaching us how to read and identify a series constitution.

Thanks a lot, for teaching us how to build a serious constitutional and political system.

Thanks a lot, for teaching us how to do political science.

Thanks a lot, for teaching and giving us the tools to protect societies of media.

Thanks a lot, for teaching us how to control political parties and structure electoral system.

Thanks a lot, for teaching and alerting us what is going to happen if we still abusing of environment and mother Earth.

Thanks a lot, for teaching and telling us about our new plural societies and guided us how to live in those societies.

Unfortunately life will not give me the opportunity, to be one of your students at Columbia University, because our big years differences, but thought your books indirectly I have been one of your students. Finally the most important thanks a lot, is because you formed Jorge Islas during his stay at Columbia University.  That is the biggest present you have done for UNAM students. I wish life will give me the opportunity to say thank in front of you.
